Government contracts ending, by coming quarter
DAALL:EXP adds up the annualised value of contracts already awarded on Etimad whose end date falls in each coming quarter. It describes what the record says is running out. It does not say that a contract will be renewed or retendered, or when, and it makes no predictive claim. T7 and T6 are in the registration and have no result yet; results of other tests are on the Evidence page.
Annualised value ending
Eight coming quarters from 31 Oct 2026 · a calendar of known contracts, not a forecastEach bar sums value × 12 ÷ duration in months for the contracts ending in that quarter, SAR bn a year, ex VAT. Later quarters are lower partly because contracts not yet awarded are absent. Source: Etimad award records, read by Daall.

Largest buyers by value ending
Top 15 merged entities · SAR m a year · next four quartersexp_buyers.csv →Entities with several Etimad names or accounts are counted once, using the published merge list. Only totals by sector and by buyer are published; contract-level and buyer-by-activity detail is not. The share from contracts under three months is published by quarter only, so a buyer's figure here can rest largely on very short contracts without showing it.
Definition and limits
Descriptive · full definitionEnd date = award date + 30 days + duration in months × 30.44 days. Annualised value = value ex VAT × 12 ÷ duration in months. Duration in months is the dataset's contract_duration_months, to two decimals. Contracts count only with a stated duration; framework agreements are excluded. The end date and the value follow the contract definition in registered test T6 (registration); no renewal rate from that test is computed or applied here.
Contract start is not a field on Etimad, so the 30 days are an assumption. Extensions, cancellations and early termination are not visible. A short contract is scaled up: a contract of one month counts at about twelve times its value and a 4-day contract at about 92 times, which is why the nearest quarter carries the most short contracts.
This page reads the award record only. It is not compared here with spending, revenue or prices, and a large figure is not evidence that new awards will follow. T6, whose contract definition this page follows, has no result yet; results of other tests are on the Evidence page.
